This cd is incredible and no I really cant compare it to the older material.But I throughly enjoyed this cd all the way through!!!!!!!EXCELLENT is all I can say!!!!!!!!!!

I think MMA, Unspeakable, Lost, In Remembrance, and Closure are some of there best, but I'm not sold on the rest yet.

The Melodies on the album are better than ever before in my opinion. Even though it's simpler and more mainstream. They've done a really amazing job. Just spread the word now! Get Evergrey the respect they deserve. \m/

It's a good album, but it just doesn't do as much for me as past EG albums. It sounds like they tried to focus more on making shorter, more radio-ready songs, in my opinion. That doesn't mean the songs are instantly bad, but I just get this feeling that the album is missing something. I don't know, there aren't that many addictive guitar hooks, and the keys are choked by the rest of the instruments. Till Dagmar is amazing, though, and Tom's vocals are again impressive. That being said, the album begins to show signs of what it's lacking as it progresses. At least that's what I've experienced so far.
