EVH D Tuna Live

So I played a few of the new EVH guitars at guitar center and really enjoyed playing them. I wanted to pick one up for live use (but have only used fixed bridges before). Does anyone have experience with the D tuna and would this be a good stay in tune live guitar for standard and drop d.

Have not tried this guitar, but I fitted an D-tuna on a guitar with Floyd (had to fix the trem to only go forward) and it worked very well. No problems with tuning.

I installed a D-Tuna after market on my EVH Music Man from the 90s. It's great and I've gigged with it with a couple of bands. I will say it's vitally important that you do the initial setup with the D-Tuna's internal fine tuner, so that both tunings are in tune (especially if you plan to switch tunings mid song, like Eddie does in the song "Me Wise Magic.")
