Crestfallen Records are producing a street press paper called Extreme Noise which will be distributed to metal shops (and shops that stock metal) throughtout Australia. This will focus mainly on death/black/doom and power metal.
The first issue (due out in a couple of weeks) will feature BATHORY (cover story), DESTRUCTION, AVRIGUS, WITCHERY, DARKTHRONE, ICED EARTH, BLOODTHORN, GAMMA RAY, DISSIDENT RECORDS, FINNTROLL, ENTWINE, ABSU and HOLLENTHON.
Issue two will contain MY DYING BRIDE (cover story), ANATHEMA, NIGHTWISH, ABOMINATOR, CHALICE, ELYSIUM, GREEN CARNATION, CRUACHAN, SOLEFALD, BORKNAGAR, LYCANTHIA, CODE 666, BEHOLDER, HYPOCRISY, ALCHEMIST etc.
We would love your feed back on this. We are also thinking of going glossy later on and would also like to know if you would pay for a high quality full gloss magazine in the vein of Terrorizer. Finally, we would also like to know your local shops so that we can make sure sufficent stock is delivered there.
