My controller is weighted keys so drumming with it sucks out loud. I've been thinking of getting the smallest axiom for this though.

for you guys using the SSD midi's with EZPlayer......what mapping are you using? or have you made one up for EZplayer?

Most of the midi stuff I am finding is GM so I stick with that.

yeah i was just referring to the slate midi's - if i wanted to use them with something else

i guess its just a case of waiting for toontrack to release an update with the SSD map included. even still it would be nice to use other midi beats with SSD and have ezplayers full functionality

There are maps that are cubase friendly that tell you what everything is, but it doesn't re map anything (so no conversion maps to my knowledge).

I never seen from that perspective, but now you've mentioned, i think that lot of the samples that are being sold as acoustic drum these days sounds more and more less acoustic and more like 80's drums, like Whitesnake drums.

The less I have to worry about production issues the better it is.
