if you can find a way to widen it, and make it have a thicker tone overall, to me, it would sound almost exact

Well kick is just the Andy Sneap kick with some eqing to match the original. Snare was layered with a sample "behindert" posted years ago (It just was named "Snare1,2,3..."). The trick was to add a ringy Slate Z4/Z2 to get that roomy impact. After another listen it´s a tad to roomy.

Are the stems still available? I only have the regular edition via Itunes. Can't find no info on the stems!
