I don't like how they took away the buttons when replying/commenting. How the fuck do I get past one paragraph? It used to be enter/return, now that submits the text. Annoying as hell.

I hate myself for it, but I joined a few months ago after resisting it long enough. It's cool to stay in touch with people you don't see that often and you get a (very rough and artificial) impression on how they're doing or what they're doing. The spam bugs the shit out of me, though. Also it's useful for a studio / band facebook page.

A thing I won't join (at least for personal use, perhaps for the studio) is Twitter. I get seriously angry when I see it occasionally.

If you press Shift+Enter it creates a new paragraph..

Yeah that still annoys me. Sometimes I'll forget to hold shift down and I'll be like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!", and then have to go back and edit the post

I don't understand what spam shit you guys are talking about. It's all user created bullshit, the ads to the right are targeted based on things you have posted and/or liked. You can opt out of all email communication from facebook as well. If you are getting too many app invites/posts click the damn 'X' and block all content from said app.

Are you guys new to this internet thing?

"Spam" in this case are polls with totally useless and stupid content (for me, anyway). Some people post polls like every 2 seconds. I never use any apps on facebook, turned off the email notifications and don't see ads on the right either (thanks AdBlock).. It still bugs me that some people think they have to post their brain-garbage every few minutes. But I guess that's what Facebook is, after all. I was hoping it wouldn't be as bad as Twitter.
