Fangirl Comics - Carpet Matches The...

Freakame, Freakayou!
A friend asked if I could help her with a project. Jokingly, I said I'd only help if she had shirtless pictures of Loomis (it was relevant at the time). Apparently, John believed he had such photos in his shirt.

After much laughing, John helped me shape this comic. He's the black guy.

This may be one of the more "creepy" comics. But it came about from innocent fun with a bunch of friends making fun of my endearment to a guy I hardly know.

"Writers of English will still distinguish between the masculine blond and the feminine blonde[2] and, as such, it is one of the few adjectives in English with separate masculine and feminine forms."

edit: comic is a bit creepy heh

Had to clarify it to yourself?

I actually didn't remember that until you posted it. I knew I went to school for SOMETHING. Damn masculine and feminine words.

Why chest hair? It would have been slightly funnier if you asked about his crotch forest.

odd! That was never covered in my English courses. *shrugs*

I was about to say the same thing, Kev!

"1 : of a flaxen, golden, light auburn, or pale yellowish-brown color <blond hair>; also : having blond hair <a blond man> -- spelled blond when used of a boy or man and often blonde when used of a girl or woman"

we are so meticulous!!!!!

Well, the only reason I knew that was because it randomly came up somewhere else about a week ago. I never learned it in school, either heh. That article also says that not every writer will distinguish, so there's no real right or wrong.

 That was funny. I need to root out any fangirl threads I missed (been off line awhile) they are a riot!

Speaking of which....I would kill to see WD's chest :p I've yet to find one in all my net travels. God I'm a dirty old woman LOL.

I love how weird English is, and especially how it's become so damn prominent that everyone on earth has to learn this stupid, inconsistent language.

Actually, if I recall, it's not necessarily a masculine usage for the word, but I suppose it's all subjective. If I can dig back into what I learned so many moons ago, blond (no e) is the usage that refers to the coloring of the hair, meaning it's an adjective, e.g., "She has blond hair." Blonde is the usage when it's being applied as a pronoun "He is a blonde."
