For those that don't know, The Director's Cut is a bunch of metalized movie themes like The Godfather, Cape Fear, The Omen, and others. The whole album is amazing, but Rosemary's Baby is the crowning achievement. The buildup between the repetitive riff and Patton's baby vocals ending with the simply astounding ending is, well, simply astounding.

WHAT!
HAVE THEY DONE!
TO!
ITS EYES!

Although I'm sure the fact that Rosemary's Baby is one of my favorite movies has something to do with it. :Spin:

Yeah you and lurch should go apeshit over this. Even if lurch hates Fantômas, and there is a possibility that you will too. :loco:

I love The Omen, Der Golem, and The Godfather.

Ever heard them do their Slayer medley live? It's cool as hell, a bunch of songs from RIB.

Holy balls, this is doing my head in. Really good stuff.

The thing I like about Patton is that even when he's manic, he still seems in control. He makes it sound so easy.

So far the best track is "One Step Beyond"....but "The Omen" fucking rules too.

It's really something else to see Patton live in a club. He's got like three mikes, one of which is in a gas mask, and effects on a stand at hand level. He goes absolutely apeshit but is also unquestionably completely focused. It's a little scary. He is one weird mutha. But christ, that fucking voice...

will try to find this as it is movie themed .. although Delirium completely was a waste of time.

NAD once ripped me a CD-R of Delerium.....that's going on next tonight.
Glad you enjoy Director's Cut, but Delirivm Cordia is a completely different story. :tickled:

I've never seen Patton live, in any of his bands. Sucks.

I saw him with Tomahawk, and he RULED. He had all his mikes and some weird effects. He even did a whole solo section with just his voice and some effects. They opened for Tool, so the Tool crowd just sat there going "WTF!".

I saw Faith No More in a club and have seen Tomahawk open for Tool, and play a club w/ Melvins opening. I want to catch Fantomas.
