Alas the solo for Far Away was played by Danny. I played solos on Antimatter albums for Last Laugh and The Art .. but as far as live stuff is concerned with my nerves at shitting point just concentrating on vocals theres no way Id attempt to throw a lead into the mix, especially for an Anathema song when the guy who did the original lead was sitting next to me. Another factor is that I play a 12 string acoustic on stage which again kind of rules out the probability of a decent solo from me.
I understand you completely,I have this exact same problem when it comes to live perfomances,my thoughts when I listened to the music was "how can this guy sing so damn good and still solo like this?" =)
