Fates Warning

Gordian Knot is anything but shred dude :)

but it's awesome...very atmospheric, jazz/fusion inspired intrumental stuff.

Sean Malone is god.

As for Ray's voice...there is an obvious difference between Perfect Symmetry and Parallels...
from what I know he met Labrie from DT and decided to take vocal lessons...and it shows...he's much more controlled and smoother on Parallels.

Check out CHROMA KEY awesome, 10/10 kevinmoore project with fates warning bar jimmy mitoes...Dead Air for Radios

hahaaha

1. COLORBLIND (sample)

Song description
Pantone memory, x-ray eyes.

This song originally started out with a sequenced piano pattern. One day the sequencer somehow played the piano part with the wrong patch - a slow attack, creepy tone that completely obscured the melody. Needless to say it sounded better, and the intro stayed that way ever since...
on a beach twenty yards from the roadside
back again 6 AM far from sleep
must be 290 blue on the water
it's gray to me 3 CV is all I see

green can only hold you in the garden
too much red will go right to your head
but if it's all the same to you
give me back my blue
other colors fade anyway

i'm colorblind three way tragedy
pantone memory grayscale eyes
maybe i'm paranoid yeah that's my problem
you almost have to be when you look like me

stopped in the shade of a road sign
when the sun rose like a bomb
tried to read the simple writing
but the letters came out wrong
it's all white lines to me
but things are getting clearer
i can almost read the writing in the mirror

i'm colorblind three way tragedy
pantone memory grayscale eyes
maybe i'm paranoid yeah that's my problem
you almost have to be when you look like me

green can only hold you in the garden
too much red will go right to your head
but if it's all the same to you
give me back my blue
other colors fade anyway

i'm colorblind freeway tragedy
pantone memory x-ray eyes
where'd all the color go on my radio?
you almost have to be a satellite to see.

Chroma Key is awesome....You Go Now is one of my favorite CDs

as for Labrie...he's fucking awful now....but on Images and Words...regardless of whether you like his voice....
he was perfect.

Listen again harder,,,,..this time you will see the real truth.
track #4 surrounded..
yes i have heard the cd many a time....

its sucks

i rather listen to PROGIGY

KEVIN MOORE was the best thing about dream theater. If only they realized how much shit James Labrie is and got rid of him, then get Myung some more chapman stick lessons, and then they could make more Liquid Tension albums with myung instead of Tony levin just to keep him in the music scene (jelly jam?? platypus?? hahaha, like they'll get anywhere).

and how about that new supergroup thats in the works ....
Matheos
Kevin moore
errmmmmm.... mike portnoy

with guest musicians sean malone (!!) and steven wilson.

Office of Strategic Influence?? or some cheesy name like that.

if portnoy doesnt fuck it up they might come out with some great music......
