Fav' Computer Game (Multiplayer)?

Well, it was Quake, then I stopped playing online multiplayer (I much prefer a good single player game), but I'm sure Doom3 and HL2 should be good.

mines proberbly quake 3

I remember being EXTREMELY disappointed when Quake's Arena came out and it was clearly for network play. I had no interest (nor the appropriate equipment) to play over a network, so I was very bummed out. I never did understand why they made that game so you could not really play it by yourself. Why not do it both ways? If, in fact, they DID do it both ways, then one way or another they failed miserably, cause you could not play that game by yourself. It BLEW.

That was really the last time I ever played those games. Was a sad day, cause I spent many, many a day at my computer smoking and playing Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake. Those were good times.

i think quake 3 arena was just designed as a tournement for people to battle against each other and use the single player function as a trainer thing.. it kinda sucked then though, when it first came out for multi-play as most people were still on modems, which meant too much lag.. but it's still fun now

I've always liked Goldeneye 007 for N64. I actually haven't played Perfect Dark yet. Hopefully, I can get a good deal on it somewhere.

I used to think Goldeneye was the best for multiplayer, but there's just so many more options in Perfect Dark. It's just corking. Goldeneye has a better single-player though.

I still need to complete Perfect Dark. Just got the last bonus level to finish on Perfect Agent and I'm done - everything else is finished, including all the multiplayer challenges and the cheats. Maybe I should start trying again.
