Fav solo

Laroque solo on Death's Trapped in a Corner.

Thats my fav guitar solo
but my all time favorite solo is John Coltrane's first solo on Giant steps, closely follow by coltrane solo's on my favorite things. Then the guitar ones :p

One of my favourite solos is the one he plays in Overactive imagination.

mine are mostly more recent, no guitar hero solos hehe.

In Flames - December Flower
In Flames - Zombie Inc
Children of Bodom - Downfall
Children of Bodom - Kissing the Shadows
The Crown - The Speed of Darkness
Soilwork - Needlefeast

favorite all time would prolly be In Flames - December Flower, i love everything about it, from the rhythm riff to the melody :headbang:

best solo? brett gurewitz of bad religion at the start of "i want to conquer the world".

Is not Ozzy's is Randy's.

Ozzy is a fat old looser that cant play guitar

Yeah, but IIRC the song is still Ozzy's, so Sapatti's statement stands. It is a bit like saying "that solo on Dark Tranquillity's Haven" - I'm pretty sure it is played by Niklas, but there's still no way of claiming the whole song "his", as he hasn't composed it.

I just dislike bands that want popularity by using their leading mans name

Misanthrope ( Thinks his band would sound stupid and arrogant if he names them Ernesto Nañez )

Hmm, wouldn't this sound great...

"Hello Wacken! It's nice to be here with all you great metal-heads! We have come all the way from Mexico to play here for you! We are the fucking best metal band from Mexico! We are... Eeeerneeesto Nañeeeez and the band."

And the crowd yells: "ER-NES-TO! ER-NES-TO!" :tickled:

:D

Or to think of it, perhaps not. :puke:

That doesnt makes me sick, or makes me laugh, or happy, it scares me:cry:

I would be seriously scared and depressed if a large crowd would yell my name.

Misanthrope ( one of those "fucked up" kids:cry: . )

Jeff Loomis (Nevermore)- The River Dragon has come
Kristian Niemann(Therion)- Midgard

Loomis is very technical guitar player. Has an excellent felling too
Kristian s just fast (solo credits for Cristofer, he s the one who composed it)

In Flames - The hive (a masterpiece)
-the December flower (one beautiful solo)
-Zombie Inc. (the best clean solo i ever heard, then it goes heave and kicks ass)
Dream Theater - Home (when Pertucci mimicks the sitar, cool as hell)
Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper (all those solos rock)
