I like Warrel Dane and Mikael Akerfeldt, as disliked as they are. Mikael Stanne is probably the most dynamic growler - excellent and articulate expression and range.

The only person I really hate is Nazgul.

only one of their albums has that "witch" type screech vox. The rest have decent (but unremarkable) half grunts half shouted vocals.

I really liked his vocals on Symbolic and TSoP (witch being burned at a stake, that opening shriek in "Painkiller" makes my spine tingle). The half and half thing he hand going on in Human and Individual Thought Patterns was kinda different, but everything before that was pretty generic (vocals, not music altogether).

My top 5. And of late, Jens Carlsson (Savage Circus, Persuader) has really impressed me, as he manages to emulate Hansi's style and yet impart some distinct qualities that sets him apart from being a rip-off.

Can't think of weak vocalists. Usually, I am compatible even with crap vocals, if the music is good.
