I like weird movies that have something to do with sex, betrayal, or ass-kicking martial arts.

This one isn't foreign, but it's very 'indie' and I think the average fan of foreign flicks would love this trilogy:
The QATSI Trilogy .... Naqoyqatsi - Powaqqatsi - Koyaanisqatsi :worship:

I loved House of the Flying Daggers... Martial Arts yes.. but very artsy at the same time... plus i have a huge crush on Ziyi Zhang... any others like this one you can recommend? ... have you seen Hero with Jet Li , Ziyi Zhang (her role was minor though ) etc.. you might like Fearless as well...

Downfall
House of Flying Daggers (as pointed out before)

Taegukgi (this film is absolutely amazing!)

Some of my favorites:

The Virgin Spring (Sweden)
Wild Strawberries (Sweden)
Aguirre: the Wrath of God (Germany)
The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser (Germany)
Audition (Japan)
The Seven Samurai (Japan)
Ran (Japan)
Princess Mononoke (Japan)
Castle in the Sky (Japan)
Oldboy (Korea)
Breathless (France)
City of Lost Children (France)
Y Tu Mama Tambien (Mexico)

My favorite foreign directors are Takashi Miike, Ingmar Bergman, Akira Kurosawa, Andrei Tarkovsky, Werner Herzog, and Jean-Luc Godard. I also really like Michel Gondry and Alfonso Cuaron.

Pan's Labyrinth

Thought that was sorta overrated.

The whole vengeance trilogy (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance/Oldboy/Lady Vengeance) has a weird vibe going for it. The only once I've seen in its entirety is Oldboy, though. Frankly I don't consider them "enteraining..." but the guy's some kind of visual genius.

Audition was fucked up. Ichi the Killer was more fucked up. Aftermath was the king of fucked up.
