When I think of guitar solo's KH is the 1st person who comes to mind

David Gilmour - On an Island - ultramelodic solo

Enslaved - Fusion of Sense & Earth - fits the song perfectly

GNR - Estranged, Sweet Child O' Mine - Slash was so good at one time

Led Zep - Dazed & Confused - One of my all-time fav songs, great solo caps it off
 
The solo of comfortably numb on the pulse DVD............shivers running down my spine :)

an because I'm hearing it now......the lead lick on Jorm by Plankton is absolutely awesome
