Katatonia is one of those weird bands where some songs are amazingly lyrical, while others are almost embarassingly soft.
Criminals, for example, has some of the worst lyrics ever committed to paper:

It's not like I owe him money
This is different"

That barely makes sense - but happily, I love this band too much to quibble about the lyrics ...
