Favorite King Diamond Album

Puppetmaster for me. King's voice isn't quite so intolerable to me on that one. I've always liked the music and if it wasn't for his voice I could enjoy it all a lot more.

Abigail, as it is one of my favorite albums ever. Conspiracy would be 2nd, followed by Them.

Beginning with The Eye, I always thought the material just wasn't as memorable. Yeah, the albums had their share of great songs. But IMO, except for Voodoo and House of God, none came close to the magic of the first four.

That didn't stop me from getting his "cross" tattooed on my right arm though.

Ok my vote goes to Abigail, my first King Diamond record and what a shock it was!! I also hold Conspiracy, Voodoo, The Eye, Them and PuppetMaster in highest regard

I really love Voodoo but Abigail is the winner.

Abigail will win for sure, but I also really love Voodoo. Great production on Voodoo as well.

The reason I dont like The eye so much is becuase they used a damn drum machine on it...just not the same

Not only is it a great horror story, but the songs are great from beginning to end.

I have to say that although I rated "Them" 3rd, The Invisble Guests and Tea are two of my favorite KD tracks. Andy's leads on those tunes are unreal.

Spirits, from Abigail II is a great track from the later years....

My vote goes to "The Eye". To my ears, the songwriting is just a hair stronger than that of "Abigail". Of course, if asked again next week, I may well go with "Abigail"....these two are my favs!
