Puppetmaster for me. King's voice isn't quite so intolerable to me on that one. I've always liked the music and if it wasn't for his voice I could enjoy it all a lot more.

Abigail, as it is one of my favorite albums ever. Conspiracy would be 2nd, followed by Them.

Beginning with The Eye, I always thought the material just wasn't as memorable. Yeah, the albums had their share of great songs. But IMO, except for Voodoo and House of God, none came close to the magic of the first four.

That didn't stop me from getting his "cross" tattooed on my right arm though. :headbang:

You are correct sir!

This poll reminds me that I still haven't written a live report of last week's awesome gig in Paris... *lazy* :Smug:

Ok my vote goes to Abigail, my first King Diamond record and what a shock it was!! I also hold Conspiracy, Voodoo, The Eye, Them and PuppetMaster in highest regard :worship:

Abigail for sure
Them and consipiracy come in a close 2nd though. Most other KD albums are average at best

I'm voting for The Eye - quite possibly the most criminally underrated album of King's discography.

I can't say anything for The Graveyard because it's the missing CD of my King Diamond collection and I can't find it anywhere.

Damn! This tread seems to bring some regulars out of the woodwork; EVERLOSTINDEADETERNITY, Platinum Maze, Electronicoil and Pabla. Great
to see you all post again! :headbang:

The reason I dont like The eye so much is becuase they used a damn drum machine on it...just not the same

Thanks, Hawk. It is an honor to be considered a regular here. :worship:

I have to say that although I rated "Them" 3rd, The Invisble Guests and Tea are two of my favorite KD tracks. Andy's leads on those tunes are unreal.

Spirits, from Abigail II is a great track from the later years....
