Favorite Lord of the Rings Movie?

They're all good. King Kong is going to kick arse. You guys seen Jackson's older flicks like Meet the Feebles, Bad Taste etc?

there is a documentary available at Blockbuster on Lord of the Rings fans. Haven't seen it yet, but thought it looked interesting. It's hosted by Merry/Pippin, I can't remember which. The one who is on Lost.

I also have Tolkein's Guide to Middle Earth for Dummies (yes, the ________ for Dummies series) but I have yet to read that too. Hopefully I'll get around to reading these books but if not, then I'll read them when I retire in like 40 years.

For me its Fellowship - I just prefer the character dialogues and introductions. It doesn't have as much action as say TT or ROTK but I just prefer it story wise, there is a sense of urgency and the build up is fantastic.

TT was the transition film between part 1 and 3. ROTK was great but I gotta admit after having read the books at an earlier age Jackson kinda disappointed with Shelob.

Read the book - its damn long and will bore you in parts but persist - the whole Shelob sequence in the book is far more terrifying esp as Sam is with Frodo and they are being slowly stalked in a dark tunnel by Shelob... best bit is they can't see for shite... all they can see is hundreds of little faint eyes looking down on them in the darkness.

Its brilliant!

Wish they put in Tom Bombadil.

I just watched "The Return of the King" and it was ok. Some awesome battles, but some parts could of actually bored me to sleep. Anyway I still say the second one is the best.

Actually the best LOTR film is the one where Vader turns to Frodo and says No Frodo I am Kayser Soze'

Remember that one? No?

Ok. I'll get my coat.

The second.

The second movie from many trilogy's is usualy the best.

Empire strikes back, Matrix Reloaded, Back to the Future II, although I gotta say, I like Last Crusade the best out of all the Indy movies.
