Besides Star Wars III which one would ya pick. I started this (besides being bored) b/c I liked Mean Creek and for once agreed w. the "people" w. Milion Dollar Baby but those are of course 2004. Please feel free to list all Independent films you like.

Well, although I am 28 I enjoy cartoons and comedy. I liked Robots. Madagascar was good too. I know its not out yet, but I want to see the new Pink Panther with Steve Martin.

I can tell you I DIDNT like Yours mine and Ours (wife wanted to go).

http://www.imdb.com/List?year=2005&&votersort=on&&votes=500&&nav=/Sections/Years/2005/include-totalvotes&&heading=7;Most%20popular%20titles;2005%20by%20total%20votes This is why I didn't start a poll but I was most recently impressed w. Serenity. Others:
40 year-old virgin (too close to home, man)
4 brothers
boogeyman
emily rose
kingeth kongeth
devil's rejects
wedding crashers

I have Stewie's movie and Red Eye in my mailbox right now to watch sometime over this 3 day weekend:Smug: .

Also I haven't seen history of violence, jarhead, walk the line, amityville, skeleton key, kiss kiss bang bang, hostel or sawII(which had the most votes for a horror flick!!??

White Noise gets honorable mention, IMO. Later!

Just noticed Syriana(which I wanna see) wasn't on the list or Team America (Mr. Wu):)

I watched one that came out on video here in Oz last month called Creep or Creeper. Good horror flick that one. Surviving Christmas was pretty good too. Ill wait patiently for the Transformers movie.

my top five this year were......

devils rejects
sin city
chronicles of narnia
walk the line
march of the penguins

King Kong
Corpse Bride
Charlie and the Choc Factory was fun, but I still prefer Gene Wilder
Star Wars was a huge letdown, as fucking usual
Kingdom of Heaven was lame
Sin City bleh, the comics are 10,000 times better

Everything else I saw/watched was old.

I almost hate to admit this one, but I only got to the local multiplex once this year... "Must Love Dogs" really wasn't a bad film at all. Sappy, yes - but better than some other shit I've watched over the years, like "Before Sunrise".

And... sorry to say this, karrokid, but as much as I thought "March Of The Penguins" was beautifully photographed, it was kind of a letdown to me. Almost made it seem that a penguin's life really sucks - nothing at all like Opus of Bloom County, eh?

I can't wait for "Lord Of War" to come out on Tuesday, and I still want to see "Elizabethtown," "Just Like Heaven" and "Walk The Line" - "Walk" comes out Feb. 28 on DVD, last I saw.

I think my fav one would be The Chumscrubber. Although I haven't seen every 2005 movie I wanted to see yet. But The Chumscrubber will probably be an underground cult movie pretty soon... kindda like Donnie Darko, when you think about it. If you haven't seen it, do it.

I just rented Batman Begins and War of the Worlds. I am a fan of the original, so WOTW was awesome to me, great special effects. Batman begins is the best batman movie ever.
