Ok, let the fight begin!!!
I gotta go with......Zakk Wylde. Wished Randy would have lived longer to give us a bigger catalog.

Gus G.

I know he has the worst "track record" to date [not his fault], but his work in other bands and abilities have been unmatched thus far from Ozzy's other guitarists (to my ears anyways). Plus, he happens to be one of my favorite guitarists - and this was long before he debuted with Ozzy.

Zakk was a huge influence and No More Tears is a masterpiece so I'll go with him I guess. Randy and Jake were both fantastic. Randy's influence in undeniable too.

Jake E. Lee, but I enjoyed both him and Randy when I was learning to play guitar. I didn't really know much Rhoads other than Crazy Train until late '82 or early '83, and he had obviously already passed.

The Ultimate Sin is one of my favorite 'guitar' albums, and Bark at the Moon is arguably my favorite solo(s) ever.

It is good to see everyone around here spelling "Rhoads" correctly. It is butchered quite often. :Smokedev:

I never knew it was spelled differently on any of the records. How and where?

Rhoads is the correct spelling. It drives me nuts when I see "Rhodes, Rhoades, etc..."

I forget the exact spelling [Rhodes?], but it's different on my version of Blizzard of Ozz. I remember reading it going "That doesn't look right," before confirming that version of his name was not correct.
