Recently, my sister has gotten me into the Walking Dead. I can't wait for the second season to start. Also, Ugly Americans is pretty satisfying.

And House.

I only ever seem to watch one TV series at a time, and never on TV, only on DVD. Can't stand ad breaks pulling me out of something I'm getting totally immersed in, purely because greedy fucks feel the need to spend 5 minutes to try to sell me shit I don't want or need.

Anyway, currently working my way through all 9 seasons (and 2 films) of The X-Files. Been doing this a good 4 or so months now, just finished Season 3 the other day.

It's probably the only TV series I've seen that comes close to the glory of Twin Peaks, except I imagine I'm gonna have a far bigger hole in my heart when I finish The X-Files than the last time I finished watching Twin Peaks.
A month of Twin peaks vs what will potentially be a year or so of The X-Files, ow. I am gonna have some NASTY "Post Series Depression" \o/

I will probably watch The Wire after that. I hear good things about it.

This. I watch one show at a time with DVDs and then when I catch up to when it's airing, I just watch each episode the next day without commercials. Can't fucking stand commercials or not being able to pause when I want to.

My favorite show of recent times is "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" but we'll have to see what happens now that they need to recast Spartacus with Andy Whitfield giving his resignation to focus on his cancer treatments since his relapse. That show had me on the edge of my seat each and every night and the final episode was one of the best season finales ever! He said he would kill them all and that's what he did.

Right there in the running is another show with a main character that battled cancer in the past year - Michael C Hall in "Dexter" - last seasons finale shocked me as well when Dexter came home and.... Well I'll not spoil it in case anyone has not seen it, but for those that did, did you expect that ending? This season has had some ups and downs, but in some ways I like Dexter with a soul partner that gets him, but some of the plot lines have been merely filler material and ended before they develop fully - but still, another show I watch with religious fervor.

We are truly kindred spirits Gareth  And I'll also add bitterly loathing end-of-season cliffhangers

Spartacus was really good! They're releasing the prequel miniseries in January and then season 2 is supposed to start in sept. 2011 with the new actor.

Season 4 finale of Dexter was FUCKED UP. I can't wait to see what they do with this one next sunday. I think the current season was really good, Lumen's character is a lot more interesting than Miguel Prado in season 3. I thought s3 kinda sucked. I actually stopped watching in the middle of s3 two years ago and just picked it back up and got up to date last week.
