Favourite Album..

I've only really heard 'Empiricism', and I love it!! I've listened to various tracks from the other albums, but not enough to really get into it. Plus I wasn't all that impressed with what I heard, but I felt the same way with 'Empiricism', so I know it'd probably grow on me.

in order:

1.The Olden Domain (Garm is GOD!)
2.The Archaic Course & Empiricism - TAC was more original with the vocals, but Empiricism has the best keyboards(Lars Nedlund of Solefald)
3.Quintessence
4.Borknagar

my ranking:
Empiricism
Quintessence
The Olden Domain
Borknagar
The Archaic Course

Actually I find the selftitled Borknagar the best. Then: Empericism, The Olden Domain, Archaic Course, Quintessence.

i wasnt sure if there was anyone else who didnt have their head up their ass....but i found one. the self titled is certainly the best.

Thanks :) Well the mailinglist is still there, but it's a bit quiet... A forum has more potential to attract people into discussions. I'm not sure what will happen, maybe everyone will leave the list and come here... :)

As for the site, someone else is taking over from me now, so it's all up to him (and the band, since they work quite close with eachother)... I'm retiring... Still I intend to come here often, a Borky forum is cool... :D

It's really hard to decide because the different voices mark sort of different eras but today I'd have to go for Borknagar.

Yeah, I'll have to second that!) It was my first Borkis
album! I'm still getting into Empiricism... Whenever I
listen to it I find new bits and interesting things... It's
amazing how long it has kept me curious!
