Original Post:

My mind is a wasteland, I can't remember what is from what year anymore. Had to do a search for "2013" to find the shit I've heard from this year. Good naming practices when ripping shit = pathetic success.

Current top 3:

Magic Circle - S/T
Procession - To Reap Heavens Apart
Gris - A l'Ame Enflammee, l'Ame Constellee

Thoroughly enjoyed:

Subrosa - More Constant Than the Gods
Atlantean Kodex - The White Goddess
Sacriphyx - The Western Front
Summoning - Old Mornings Dawn
Sombres Forets - La Mort du Soleil
Lantern - Below
Tribulation - The Formulas of Death
Portal - Vexovoid
Krownn - Hyborian Age

Need to listen to more:

Inquisition - Obscure Verses for the Multiverse
Satan - Life Sentence

Yet to listen to:

Cosmic Church
The Ruins of Beverast
900 other things

Procession - To Reap Heavens Apart
Atlantean Kodex - The White Goddes

Not sure what else i've listened to is 2013, but Procession album rules. The new Satan was cool for a week and now it's kinda boring for me

that list makes me feel entirely out of the metal community, but I know if I listen to most of it, it probably sucks

NO JOY - Wait To Pleasure
ARCADE FIRE - Reflektor
JAGWAR MA - Howlin
KANYE WEST - Yeezus
A$AP ROCKY - LONG.LIVE.A$AP
DAFT PUNK - Random Access Memories
VAMPIRE WEEKEND - Modern Vampires of the City
MY BLOODY VALENTINE - m b v

graveland, summoning and ruins of beverast. i cant remember much else.

falkenbach just released a new one

According to this site, my band's album is #2 for 2012! That's pretty cool!
I've been meaning to scope this out for awhile... and now I finally am.

Is this download only or can I buy this? I'm only two minutes in but my face is :headbang: all over.

I've only heard a few albums from 2013. October Falls - The Plague of a Coming Age is the best of those few.

1. summoning - old mornings dawn
2. summoning - old mornings dawn
3. summoning - old mornings dawn
4. tba

no particular order

Monolithe - IV
Fyrnask - Eldir Nótt
Vàli - Skogslandskap
Beyond - Fatal Power of Death
Summoning - Old Mornings Dawn
Christicide - Upheaval of the Soul
Angizia - Des Winters finsterer Gesell
Cultes des Ghoules - Henbane

Germans are efficient about death. When they exact it, they make sure it's as fatal as possible.

I don't know about you guys, but the more incoherent the album title, the more it slays. I'll be checking it out.
