well anyway now that you mentioned it almost EVERYTHING nokturnal mortum has covered RULES (the exceptions being "south of heaven" and "deaf forever" which are merely ok):

nokturnal mortum "thurisaz" (graveland - the ONLY example i know of where a cover is better than the original)

nokturnal mortum "sorrows of the moon" (celtic frost)
nokturnal mortum "wild child" (w.a.s.p.)

And all Nokturnal Mortum covers are good. Agalloch - Kneel to the Cross is great too.
