feedback/pointers on production

I've been doing home recording for some time now, and feel i'm starting to get a decent sound going. I thought i'd ask you guys for ideas on things to do to take my production further.

i would work on your drum sound .........the snare needs alot more diffrent velocity hits.............And im even a fan of the samples but it gets a little crazy when it goes into the rolls..........sounds really good overall though........should be damn proud
what did you use on this recording for the guitars?bass?vox?

Thanks for the compliments, and yeah i'll do more work on the drumming overall. Its still work in progress (and will probably be for a year, haha), so i love any pointers for further work.

For guitar i use a Peavey Wolfgang into a pod xt (will probably re-record with new strings & impulses instead of the pods cab sim, as i'm just getting into them and sounding kick ass!).

The bass is my Moses Starhawk into the bass pod xt pro.

Vox is Røde nt-1a. Not a good room for recording, but in this kind of mix i dont really think it shines through, luckily

Heh, I use a Wolfgang and Pod too.

As for tips. I'm not sure, but your guitars seem to sit a bit too high in the mix.

Generally though, I'm really diggin your sound (minus the crazy rolls lol).

hehe, cool! guess i'll have to take a round with the drums when i get home. I dont mind exaggerating when using programmed drums, use what i can rather than make it sound like a human drummer, but its easy to overdo, hah
