Venom, DevilDriver - US Tour Cancelled - Immigration Issues Cited

The upcoming VENOM/DEVILDRIVER tour that was set to launch in just a few days has been cancelled. The following was posted by DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara on the band's official site.

"Regret to inform you that the VENOM tour, featuring DEVILDRIVER as main support has been cancelled due to immigration problems with VENOM entering the United States."

"DEVILDRIVER is currently writing for our 3rd record,and will be leaving for Australia and New Zealand in september. See ya at the show's."

Venom - New Tour Dates Released - DevilDriver No Longer Part of Tour

After having their original tour (which was supposed to kick off this Sunday) cancelled, VENOM have rescheduled their North American tour. Initial rescheduled dates, which will no longer feature DEVILDRIVER, are as follows:

September 5 - New York, NY @ Irving Plaza
September 6 - Springfield, VA @ Jaxx
September 8 - Philadelphia, PA @ The Trocadero

More rescheduled dates, as well as DEVILDRIVER's replacement, are expected to be announced shortly.

In my food safety class, my teacher was saying how she used to work at a hospital in backwoods west virginia and some woman came in from her shack up in the mountains with this crazy disease, where her lungs were filled up with fluid and all this crazy stuff. It was like an episode of that crap show HOUSE, and at the end they found out it was because all this woman ate were raccoons and opossums and they were carrying horrible diseases.
