filtering out from 500/ 600 hz down

What do I need to think with this?
What kind of curve?
A curve where there's a dip at 600HZ?
Or one where at 600 it's just straight down and everything is mixed out at <600hz..?

assuming hes talking about overheads, its whatever you think sounds best
well recorded ohs can do with a more gentle slope, but if your ohs are fucking with your kickand snare, make the slope super tight and steep, just play around and see what works for you

I always hi-pass around 600hz on the master bus, really helps to get the mud out!!!

Yeah, for the new docile stuff...since you were probally busy enough we thought we'd give it a try like this...when we need help offcourse we'll ring then ..
