final album release date!

I've just received a newsletter from roadrunner..


"8-9 mars så avgår Silja Line med Mellotronens Melloboat. Med båten och som kommer att spela live är bl.a Opeth. Opeth släpper sitt kommande album den 4 juni men på båten kommer Opeth spela en ny låt från kommande skivan. Mer info finns på Mellotronens hemsida: http://www.myspace.com/melloboat"

for all of our non-scandinavian friends, it basically says that the release date for the new album is on the fourth of june, and that they will be playing a new song on the mellotron boat.
( we want feedback afterwards from those who are going to be there!! )


so i guess we've got ourselves a final release date!! roadrunner wouldnt lie to us, would they?


This is gonna be an awesome opeth summer i'm going to play it at the beach, everyday!

In comparison to the forthcoming Evergrey album this one seems to be a little slow.Evergrey finished the album a week ago and it'll be released in may.Well I guess it's not totally fare to compare these two since Opeth is a slightly bigger band.
