The laptop is a custum built audio laptop from adk http://www.adkproaudio.com/laptop2.cfm it took them a while to ship but other than that dealing with those guys was great they gave me a great deal too as i got everything from them they gave me a discount on cubase 4:kickass:

So i fired up the laptop and its loads realy quick so far im thinking great and then the sweetner they preinstalled all the software for my audio interface and cubase 4 and stuff for my new sexy external hard drive its freaking great i love these guys for that cos i hate installing drivers and shit now i get why scott was asking me about what audio interface i would be using with it. Cant wait to test drive this rig on location.

So yea im pretty happy right now. (ps this rig was way cheaper than a macbook pro)

Kickass dude, looks great, and in a similar vein to my Rain Recording Livebook - all go, not much show  What's that icydock, a laptop cooler?

Its a pretty cool harddrive enclosure inside i have a 1tb seagate barracuda 7200 drive. Its super fool proof no wires or screws just pop the front and the harddrive comes out kinda like a video or cassete or someting. It seems realy sturdy and well made too, perfect for the road.
