Sneapsters!

Finally I decided to buy some new gear. I sold my Carvin and my Yammy Drop6. I was also very impressed by Addictive drums. I used to work with DFHS which sounds excellent but needs more time to nail some basic song ideas. I used to have a template with all settings but having to play the song completely before being able to hear all samples was bothering me more and more. Anyway, did a quick test with all of the new goodies. I'm not totally happy but I think it's a good start...check it out and please comment!

liked the mix, the kick does need a little tweaking, when working with addictive drums i usually apply my own compression, eq, transient designer, etc to the snare and kick, you can do this by the sending the output from whatever channel in addictive drums to another track or bus in your daw to modify.

Thanks guys!

Details on the guitars: They were recorded with a ENGL Vintage cab (V30's). I used 2 SM57's "Fredman style".
Fireball settings:
Gain 12:00
Bass 2:00
Mid 4:00
treble 2:30
presence 9:30
Master B: 10:00
bright and depth buttons: out
The Blackjack has the stock SD's (JB / ‘59).

I find the envelope/compressor features of AD pretty convincing but this is a good tip to be able to use your favorite plugins, thanks.

I used an Ibanez SB-900. Love this bass for it's playability and sound but it hurts my eyes :zombie:. It's the ugly 80's metal bass guitar with s-body, made in 1991 :Puke: It was plugged directly into my Sansamp Bassdriver DI.
