Finnish gothic metal act SARALEE have finished the shooting of the new videoclip Scars. The song Scars appears on their second album Damnation to Salvation that will be released via Firebox Records. The release date for the Finnish territory is 05.11.2008, while international release is planned for early 2009.

Whoa, this week there was actually two new signings for the Firebox. But due to various legal issues these signings can only be published when the ink has dried and lawyers say "hell yeah!". But two quite interesting bands they are and new albums coming in mid-to-late 2009.

Dark The Suns update, second album release plans.

We have started to record our second full-lenght All Ends in Silence album and it's going to be released in the beginning of 2009 by Firebox Records. We are now recording the guitars and keyboards in our homestudio. We'll enter Studio Watercastle in 7th of November and there we record vocals, bass and drums. This album is also going to mixed in Studio Watercastle. Track list and much more info coming soon.

Finnish melancholic dark rockers VELVETCUT have uploaded a new track to their myspace page. The song in question is called “Chameleon”. The song comes from the bands second album HUSSSHHH - The Sound of Sorrow And Silence, which will be released by Firebox Records in early 2009. The first pressing will be a slipcase CD with a bonus track.

Update from Mark Kelson:
We are already at it, the basics of 4 new tracks are down :twisted: Everything is very focused at the moment, with any luck we could be recording in November. The plan is 2 more months basic writing, the some more on tour (additional music/lyrics), and then 6 months of fine tuning and playing the tracks... anyway a slight update there

Australian dark rock/metal band The Eternal has a blog for their upcoming world tour. The blog can be accessed at http://tourblog.the-eternal.com. Dark The Suns to release their second album.

Finnish melodic gothic metal band Dark The Suns will release their second album “All Ends In Silence” via Firebox Records. The Finnish release will be 11.03.2009 while European release is in end of May 2009. The label is looking for North American and Latin American licenses for the album.

PANTHEIST will be making their first ever headlining appearance in London on March 7th, at the Camden Unicorn. This will be a FREE ENTRY show, and will see the band performing a one-off extended 90-minute set comprising their entire new album "Journey Through Lands Unknown", plus selected tracks off both their previous albums.

Support comes from London expansive, leftfield Black Metal act CROM DUBH in their first ever live appearance, making this an event not to be missed.
