First attempt at mixing

Finally have a sound that I'm happy enough to put up on here to be critiqued.
I know it can be much better than this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wow dude really like the sound...I especially like the way the bottom end fills out the arrangment and gives it some weight. Heavy indeed.I struggle with that. If anything perhaps the cymbals up a tad.

Thanks man, I agree with the cymbals needing to go up. Took me ages to get bass to sit well in a mix. Still not quite there yet, but it's getting closer. I find the hardest part to be getting the overall mix to be aggressive without becoming harsh.

doesn't sound like you filtered the guitar at all. also notch out those annoying frequencies around 4k. other than that sound pretty badass to me. beefy
