First full song recording! Advice Please!

A friend asked me to record him covering MXPX-Quit Your Life at the house over the weekend. Just thought I would ask for some advice for better technique so I can progress. This is the FIRST song I have literally recorded all the way through and with vocals period.Thanks for all the input!
