first IMPULSE

my first go at it as many of you already have....equipment used: PodXTL(criminal patch) Quad tracked, 5150 impulse,
not such great results. Anybody willing to share some EQ tips, would be very grateful.

Sounds pretty good, has good body, but is very fizzy. Pods generally sound this way, but try:

Making a new PodXT patch through your monitors, using the impulse during tweaking. Bring the presence back on the Pod, possibly the highs as well.

With drums it will sound really good I think. not to much fizzy for my taste..

I just posted a clip with drums above...it's a little deftonish and I used the Krank impulses, the timing is off a little but with the drums it's sounds much fuller
