This is my first time tracking and mixing a full band (vocals and bass were a real curve ball for me). I feel like this type of metal was probably a bad way to start haha.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

[You can skip past the intro breakdown (first like 30 seconds) to get to actual music.]

I'm having trouble with the rhythm guitars being too quiet when the lead guitars come in. I don't know if automation could fix this since I have no idea what automation is and it's probably too complicated for me to figure out anyways.

its really not bad for your first mix ever. probably better then my old stuff. haha.
are the guitars DI or did you mic?

id work on the drums alot. are they programed?
there is one cymbal that sounds like a tennis ball covered in hairspray hitting the ground.

do like it, if you want to send me files, ill have a go at it, and if you like my mix i can tell you what i did with it.
