I've been tweaking and working on this for a bit too long now and lost direction a bit

Sounds pretty clean to me, man. The guitars have this sort of high-mid scratchiness to them, maybe 1~2khz that I don't particularly care for, but that's just my taste.

Yeah some "pain frequencies" need tamed. 2k usually seems to be the bad guy for guitars. Just needs a little warmth. Listening through headphones, it was a little unpleasant.

The guitars were a LITTLE bit dark for my personal taste in this mix. Ony EQ they have is HP/LP, small dip in the low mids and ozones harmonic exciter just adding a touch (literally 0.6) in the high mids

I think that might have added a little to the fuzziness that I didn't care for, could also just be the sound of the DI track itself, but again, that's just my taste. Overall the mix is really good.

I know what you mean man, it was more a personal taste choice! It sounds good to my ears but I can see why people wouldn't be totally keen

I'm not really sure about the clipping issue, I have it with certain mixes when I import them into my DAW. Maybe someone could chime in and explain why!
