First post here- Real Drums and Amps

I liked this song and mix enough to post it here. I didnt use any samples on the drums. this is a rough mix.

Any feedback would be nice.

Drums need to shine more... I dont think the natural drum tone is cutting it.. Why dont you combine some samples?

cuz i only have a 2x2 interface and a 4 input mixer. so im recording the kick and snare together cuz i want the overheads on a different track. Do u think thats the best way? jus give some suggestions thanks

duplicate the sanre/bass drum track.

on one copy of the track use a low pass around 100 to leave mostly the bass drum

on the other track use a hi pass around 1500 to leave mostly the snare

there will still be some bleed in the tracks but it should be more then enough to trigger off of

i did what u said and i triggered the drums. it sounds a lot better.
