Please?

It's a silly song (NOT metal) I recorded in one whack (rhythms) so it's fairly slopcentric.

EDIT:This one is the bassed version but I'm still struggling with getting the bass cool. Vocals eventually.

ANYTHING at all is welcome. You can think it's crap I won't mind

Cool drums dude, I like the tones of all of them, though I feel the guitars could come up, and I'm also hearing some serious pumping of the whole mix. Also, the guitar tone is ok, but a little too smooth for my tastes, in typical 5150 fashion - up the presence a bit would be my suggestion. Cool riffs, and that was a bitchin' pinch harmonic I just heard also :) I gotta say, the first synth thing to come in kinda sounds like putting your ear up to a pipe with water flowing through it or something, not quite working for me  Also, musically speaking I feel like the transitions between riffs are a bit abrupt and don't flow too well (mostly cuz I just really don't like tempo changes, and I'm hearing some in here). But they're all sweet riffs dude, and the Killswitch-esque part just picked up into double time and is cookin'. Again, though, watch that compression pumping.

Oooooh, solo time, you've got some wicked vibrato man! It becomes a bit of a wank fest near the end, but I can't fault your chops :)

I appreciate the comments. Hhaha this was all recorded as I wrote it so the transitions are a little shize.

The compression thing stems from the fact I don't know how to use a limiter and wanted it to sound somewhat faux mastered for the time being. Any tips? I didn't want the ritual waves L3 going on

As for the wankage... I figured the solo would be the only "metal" part so I might as well go balls to the wall. It won't happen again  I've been listening to some shitty music lately haha.
Thanks again!

Hahaha, I hear ya dude, but limiters aren't necessarily bad if used in moderation - I'm LOVING Voxengo Elephant, so if you're on PC, download GClip, use two instances each with around 3.5 db of Gain and 2x oversampling on, then open up Elephant (after buying it, of course, it's only like $70 ;)) and select the "Masters Punch +3db preset" and adjust to taste!

And if you're on a Mac, well, be prepared to spend a lot more money - like I say, Macs are great for those who can afford 'em! :heh:
