Yesterday I tracked the drums and today we've put down some rythm guitars...
And still not happy about the sound of the rythm guitars...
Here's a short sample (1 min.) I took from the middle of the song containing only drums, (simple) bass & rythm guitars..
Friday we're putting down the leads and the vocals...
But till then I'd like to present this, get some opinions, and maybe work on that...

Docile - Fragile Commitment (sample)i

Peace out.

Drums sound good. I kind of really don't like the guitar sound. Try doing everything differently. :p Seriously it's not that bad but change something.

I agree on the guitars.

I think you need a lot more distortion on the amp itself. Try recording the same tracks with the current ones you have and fade the current tracks in for attack.

@Conspiracy: I actually like it to have a guitar or two play with the neck pickup. Gives the whole guitar sound more roundness. Try it!

I know what you mean. But obviously, you wouldn't want that to be up front.

I like having my bridge and neck blended together. My DiMarzio D-Sonic (bridge) and my Gibson neck pickup (whatever came in my Les Paul Standard, but I should mention I took the cover off of it) has the coolest tone ever. I usually have the neck pickup at about 6 on the volume.

Thanks everybody for the feedback

Ok, problem is that I won't be able to re-do the rythm tracks (That's why I really want a REAMP :)). So in the lead tracks I pump in some extra gain. Hopefully I'll be getting a better sound (for those) then. There's a big change that only next week we could re-do the Rythm tracks...so I just gotta be patient...

Also, I'm actually more happy with my toms then I'd ever could imagine...
Here some drum settings
Snare = 25% trigger (Sneap Sample) 75% Acoustisc
Kick = D4 Fusion Kick & Other one blended together with some EQ...(not sure what that 2nd was anymore)
Toms = Natural
Overheads = I lined up manual instead of Phase Reverse

Bass = DI Box > Amplitube (Rock Solid)...
We don't have a bass player so guitar player could borrow one from a friend and played some simple bass on the song..
