i just got one of my amps back in possession and i decided to actually take a shot at recording a some tracks with it. its a b52 solid state amp on a crate cab... nothing special really. programmed drums and pitch shifted DI track for bass. yes i know, im slackin. and i feel like it can definitely improve a lot. any ideas, anyone?

i remember my first time hahah... thats pretty good! what mic did you use?

the kick has alot of bass but theres very little bass in the recording. clearly a real bass would be alot more bassy though. so do some bass boosting for now.

the cymbals dont sound great either....

awesome start.
I think I'm gonna mic my 6505 for my next project.

keep it up with this!

I'd also like to know what your guitar chain was (post cab).
