am I the only who is bothered by the fact that I see a helluva lot of hand movement, but I barely hear any of it because the orchestrations and drum reverb are super loud in the mix? I mean, I literally can't hear any of the palm mutes and they don't seem to have any punch to them.

Yeah the guitars definitely need to be more in front of the mix. I noticed you have a weird picking technique at times, like you're twisting your wrist to pick? but I guess if it works for you it doesn't really matter. I would work a little on the vibrato though.
