'Dia dhuit a chairde'(Wee bit of Irish there for ye's)
As a 'Thrax fan for nigh on 15 year now,I'd ne'er really appreciated that first slab o' vinyl, that original Fistful Of Metal. Recently though, gone hog wild for it!!!
Okay,I'd always loved the brilliant "Metal Thrashing Mad" &,best of all,"DeathRider",but my oh my,what quality that album has. Totally knocked out by the sheer brilliance of tracks like "Subjugator", with it's burning leads, time changes and relentless charge. Others like "Anthrax", it's intro riff maybe one of the band's best? "Panic", "Howling Furies" and that great cover of "I'm Eighteen"--the whole album had such energy, and, really wonderful riffs & leads. Neil Turbin's vocals also get top marks throughout.
Great album, just took me a while to realise it!
