football these days is a sport for overpaid girlie men. You would'nt have caught nobby stiles poncing around in his missus' knickers. 30 years ago when kevin keegan was hacking the legs off johnny giles from behind, gilesey just turned on the spot and chinned him with a sweet uppercut. nowadays they just roll on the floor and cry like their whole family has been shot. that's bollox, it won't happen, cause it's simply impossible. It's just a threat cause they had a dispute with the DFL. It's all about money and influence. They wanted to show there importance to the Bundesliga, to make clear that they can be independant.
Anyway, there seem to be a solution to get back to peace with the DFL.
