...the cover of the first single of the new album

It doesn't seem Derek Riggs but recall the old glory

NP: Pharaoh - 'Sunrise'

I really like it... the cover and the song are both great... can't wait to get my little hands on it! :headbang:

Let's just say the cover is better than the song.

Aye. I'm not excited with the song either, still have to hear the whole album before more judgements

NP: Tipton, Entwistle & Powell - 'Give Blood'

Sucks that im unemployed and practically broke (shouldn't have gone on a vacation to San Francisco and spend alot of $$ in my grief lol )that I can't come up with $20 to see Maiden in October here in NY ... ... as for that coverart for the single.. its ok... it's missing something... I don't think it's Derek Riggs and it conjures up feelings of Live After Death's album cover.. so not that original..

I think this cover has a bit of a "Fear of the Dark" vide, which is very nice, even though not particularly original. The album cover isn't that cool but definitely more original (for a Maiden cover)...

at least this year we U.S. fans don't have to pay UK prices and UK shipping :)

I have never expensively for IM albums..of course the last one I bought was SSOASS since BNW was a gift

Still I'm amazed you have only found non-USA copies in the past

NP: Falconer - 'We Sold Our Homesteads'

Wyvern... thou sins too much when it comes to Maiden...
Just bow down to Eddie now and I'll spare you come September :heh:

You know is a broken love relationship? Maiden was what got me into metal, and it was by mere "accident" nobody impossed the music on me.

So for me was very painul to see the band loosing its ground (IMO) after SSOASS. After Adrian departure and then Bruce I felt the band should have quit before, and even if BNW seemed like another chance DOD really made me :ill: .

There's a saying in here: si por la víspera se saca el día (by the early hours you can make the day) and the single of the new album didn't impressed me much. The consensus among my friends here (all Maiden fans) is that their days are very much counted and they're leaving on a sour note

Still I will listen to the whole album as soon as I can, miracles do happen.

NP: Grim Reaper - 'Wrath Of The Ripper'

The single could be a possible misjudgement by management of not releasing the best song first. Personally, I think the song is the dog's bollocks, so I'm looking forward to the new album.
