I know the bass driver is tried and true, but the VT seems great as well. If they can both function as D.I.s, what are the differences?

Would the VT sound good pushing the bass driver?

Advice, opinions?

thanks

Well, I mean using either box direct into my Firebox. Possibly using the VT in front of the bass driver if it sounds good. If it isn't necessary, that's fine too.

Also, if I use the VT Bass pedal, what is the best way to split the signal so I can have a clean DI signal?

The VT pedal looks sweet.

Bumpage of old threadage.

I'm looking to get a Sansamp VT Bass pedal as well and have been wondering if anyone here has any experience with it. I actually plan on getting both it and the bass driver, and use the VT as the main preamp live and the bass driver as an ultimate DI box for the soundguy and as a backup "rig".

I'm sure your question has already been answered about the clean DI signal seeing as it was asked a year ago, but you'd have to split the bass signal before the VT with a DI box or something. The VT only has a 1/4" in and a 1/4" out. No dry output.
