For once, a Maiden thread

I like that idea less. I would rather hear new material than different versions of classics that likely won't be as good as the originals. Having that as a bonus disc to an accoustic album of new material could be the way to go lol.

I really wish they'd do an acoustic album. Unfortunately they're not the most experimental band around.

I mean an acoustic album of old stuff, not one of new material.

I don't think playing accoustic versions of old songs is all that experimental to be honest.

I don't think they should do an acoustic album under the name Iron Maiden. Perhaps they could do it, and release it as The Entire Population of Hackney, or something.

Speaking of side-projects, I think Adrian should record another solo album instead of being Bruce's lapdog. He would have to do the vocals on it too, like he did on Silver & Gold.

I would rather Adrian contribute to Bruce's work than do his own.

Today I was thinking about what Maiden could do that actually would be somewhat different, and I had a good idea. They should do a show or two, most likely in the UK, especially for DVD, that is made up of mostly stuff that hasn't been, or has rarely been played live, and could include an accoustic part where they play a few classics accoustically. Stuff like:

Sea Of Madness
Paschendale (not sure if they play this live or not)
De Ja Vu
Public Enema Number One
The Edge Of Darkness
Alexander The Great
Purgatory
