Got a pair of Sennheiser e609 Silver mics for sale here: Both are in near mint condition, and work well on guitar cabs, toms & percussion.... and pair up real nice with a 57. They're great for live sound as well. Just hang 'em off the front of your amp... no stand required.

Really fucking good price. Must resist urge...

I dunno what I would use them for though. These mics are much better (IMO) than the sm57 live. I like them on the bottom of the snare as well.

If it werent for the fact they're surplus to requirements for me (I already have a e906) I'd have them in a flash. Awesome price and as Oz says these mic's blend REALLY well with a 57.
