I think that Shagrath, sans corpse paint, is actually a pretty attractive guy. Hell, even with the corpse paint, he's pretty sexy.

I remember when I accidentally saw Trivium. I didn't really know much about them when I did, but the bassist came out with a Trivium shirt on, and I immediately hated that band... and I always will.

So many bands that I enjoy wear their own shirts, I've noticed (both live and in promo shoots). It always annoys me. Why not wear a shirt promoting a different band that you like? That way people don't think you're a bunch of egotistical assholes, and they can be like "Wow, I like that band too!" or "I've never heard that band. Now I'll check them out!"

What if you're an unknown band trying to get the word out and you're walking down the street wearing it or something?
It doesn't bother me, I don't understand why it's a huge deal. I'm sure some bands are proud of what they've accomplished, and are also likely proud of having their own merchandise.
I don't see how it's egotistical, or any more than the average person wearing band shirts. Especially those who try to boost their kvlt status by wearing shirts of black metal bands who are more obscure than the bands of the shirts that everyone else are wearing...
