...who like Porcupine Tree and mellow Opeth (pretty much all of us), I'm a long time fan of a band similar in style to these. They're called Dredg, and I strongly recommend you check them out. A good song to download by them is "Same Ol' Road" or "Sanzen". I'm a huge fan of Opeth and PT, and just thought you all might appreciate Dredg as I do. Cheers!

Agreed! Dredg is GREAT when you're not in the mood for Metal. Another favorite of Tool fans. Great live band.

I like Dredge, but apparently they're not for everyone. Some of you mentioned Tool and Deftones, well my brother and sister like those bands, and I played Dredg for them, and they hated it. They said it was boring, and all the songs sounded the same. This was "El Cielo", by the way. Meh, oh well. Serves them right for having no class, music-wise.
