They contacted me thru the south american distributors to re-mix/produce/arrange two new songs. One of them was a colaboration with Gessle and the other one was for "Viña del mar Festival", the biggest music fetival in south america, they actually won with that song

They material was pretty rough, no DI's, midi drums.Ihad to re program all drums again, record guitars, bass, and do major arrangements

But it sounds great!

I'll post some clips when I'm allowed to if you want

I'm working on my band, Backmask's second album at the moment.

I'm also mixing, mastering, and doing drum programming for a brutal deathmetal band called Bloodsoaked (Bloodsoaked666 on the forums), co producing an indie/screamo/metalcore project with a friend that has no name yet, and I may be also co-producing an up and coming Swedish metal band soon as well.

As Lasse mentionned, a first full length is on the run for my band !!!, Forced Evolution, with him on the mixing board.
Until then, it's demoing in the cage (the bedroom in my flat :p), rehearsals, drum pre-production (there is a lot of work for that), experimenting with different synths and effects. We'll track and get mixed one complete song as a demo beforehand to prepare the album and to have a glimpse on the final result.

I wish a lot of sucess to everybody for their future productive and musical project. As well as any other professional career you guys might be into.

I just finished recording four demos, drums for one album, German language recording (two weekends) and one shorter Swedish language recording. All this in five weeks. And yes, I also have a dayjob :goggly:

Never again...

I still have shitloads of editing, mixing and one album drum recording before I can start my vacation.

My band is scraping together stuff for a big (IMO) compilation (Terrorizer magazine), and we're continuing to write for our next release. We're hoping for a release this year, which will be our 3rd in 3 years.

I've had a steady stream of projects for other bands this year as well, just finished 2 metal band projects, 6 and 7 songs for those, and I'll be moving into a freelance position at a studio here in Indianapolis as their "metal guy". I'm learning the ropes of the setup there in a couple weeks.

Like many on here I also have a full time day job, as well as a wife and 2 year old triplets...But, balancing it all keeps ya young, right?

Finished the demos for the upcoming album of my own band Poema Arcanvs a month ago, a sample:

Now, we'll be recording the "real" album (next week I hope). Drums will be done on a nice studio, then the rest will be done at home and rehearsal place. I'll be producing and mixing. It's my first "real" production, so what better than starting out with my own crap, uh? (if I suck at least I won't think I'm wasting my money ...hahaha ...)

I might be asking you guys for your mastering rates real soon :)

After this, I already have a couple doomy bands interested in working with me, so I guess I'll be busy. BTW, I am an architect in my spare time  ...naahhh ... I have a fulltime job also (as an architect)

Cheers :kickass:
